After fifteen years in the Live Role Play market I am fed up with all the new web based businesses claiming to be premium suppliers, Europe's largest or the best and claiming to sell high quality weapons that will pass all European safety checks etc etc and knowing that they are all fakes, I regularly attend many European events and have never heard of most of these people and certainly never seen any of them trading at any of them! I've decided to raise my web presence again and try to bring some truth and quality back into the British LRP market.

Skian Mhor has been established for fifteen years as a manufacturer of the highest quality foam and latex weapons in the world. We were the first LRP manufacturer to have a website (established in 1994). We were the first to introduce latex weapons to most of the mainland Europe LRP systems and events, we were the first weapons manufacturers to travel to events as far away as Mount Etna in Sicily, Toulon and Marseilles in the South of France as well as many others. We were the first LRP company to sell a wide assortment of equipment from all over the world. We were the first LRP manufacturer to make successful curved weapons (and are probably still the most successful at this) Skian Mhor were the first to use the technique of spraying latex in UK manufacturing and we are still advancing the technology of weapons making with many new innovations in gluing and latexing techniques. These are indisputable facts and not wild advertising claims made by many other 'would be' shops.

Skian Mhor offer a supply service of all raw materials for DIY projects as well as supplying wholesale quantities of materials to many other weapons manufacturers. Skian Mhor also offers workshop sessions to groups of players to teach them anything they ask for from our huge knowledge base.

Skian Mhor weapons come with the guarantee that they will pass weapons checks at all  major events throughout Europe, although this claim is made by many other manufacturers I will also guarantee that most of these shops are merely echoing my guarantee without ever having travelled to these events or seeing their rules or safety guidelines, I have travelled to and traded at most of the major LRP systems and conventions in Britain, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany and Italy as well as meeting with and trading with the major suppliers in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. My weapons will last longer than the cheap Chinese, Indian or German products offered on most new web shops that have recently appeared and that they are much safer and longer lasting than the Canadian imports, don't be fooled by the bogus claims of these shops, I doubt if any of them have ever made a LARP safe weapon in their lives, they merely buy low quality imitations of UK weapons.

Our manufacturing techniques involve six different adhesives each designed for bonding a specific material, fifteen different foam types and densities each having special properties making it suitable for different weapons and their uses, over twenty different fibreglass and carbon fibre cores each having a specific use for a specific weapon type and size and we have several different types of paints, latex finishes and lacquers each producing a finish ideal for each weapon design. Add to this our range of press tools, specialist hand tools and power tools and you will soon realise that we are the best people to produce that perfect individual item that you require for your new or existing character.
